Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa – 8/27/10

Hi Everyone! My day started out at 5am, this coming after finally closing my eyes around 1:30am. I had an interview at 97X in Tampa, and had to be there at 7:30 am. I got there on time, but tired me walked out without my guitar, which is CRAAAAAAAZY. She’s like an American Express card, I don’t leave home without her. It wasn’t that big of a deal, there was another guitar at the station. I guess no matter what things always work themselves out.

The interview was cool, and when I got downstairs my truck wouldn’t start. Fun. Apparently my friend left the car on as he slept during the interview. After dealing with that we had to eventually drive BACK to Orlando to get the rest of the guys to turn around again and drive back to Tampa. And never got a chance to take a nap….DUTY CALLS!

We had a band called The Grove open for us, and it was one of the better bands that we have had open for us. There is nothing worse than hearing fans asking, “When is this band gonna be done?” Thankfully that wasn’t the case. Almost 400 people showed up, and danced and sung the night away. Let me tell you – music is a beautiful thing. I’m pretty sure that everyone in there had a pretty stressful week, so to be able to help relieve some stress is a cool thing. THANK YOU everyone in TAMPA for your love! I’ll be back Oct. 12 ACOUSTICALLY .
