There are a few things in this life that really make me happy….Music. My family.  My friends.  My pets.  Sports Center. Video games. And people getting along together. Oh, and actually getting to sleep IN MY BED – LOL. However, I found, yet another “happy place” -  Latitude 30, where I got to experience all but one on my things that make me happy list. I am very happy and it has nothing to do with  the  medications I am on right now due to my recent bad back but I do have to admit they are making me feel…well…”Kinda Good!”-(Big Trouble In Little China reference).

Have you ever been to Dave and Busters? Well if you have, Latitude 30 is Dave and Busters on steroids! Whatever Arnold was pumping, they are pumping! It’s like they have everything that a child to what an old gambler from Vegas would want. And it is sectioned off in that way! Picture this – to the left (to the left – ha!) you have the ARCADE, which my brother and I are sooooo jealous at the games these little BRA….er…BEAUTIFUL Happy Fortunate, yet deserving angelic children get to enjoy these days! Yes, I was the original “Nintendo Nerd”.  And over to the right is the restaurant/Vegas gambling screen that has 60 inch screens SURROUNDING the 100 ft JUMBO-TRON screen, all showing DIFFERENT sporting events….Heaven. Yeah, there is also 10 lanes of bowling, with LEATHER COUCHES as you sit and wait your turn where you can enjoy food & beverages…I mean….I think Dave and that guy Buster are going to be out of business pretty soon.

Besides ALL of this eye candy stimulation, they hired me to play in the middle of the place to add to the customers delight…

The crowd was awesome.  The COOLEST part of the night was the last set. After 10 pm Latitude 30 basically turns into a nightclub, so they have a couple of DJ’s come up and spin, so we all thought it would be tight to add Osubi Craig on Percussion and me on Acoustic guitar WHILE the DJ’s spun…I must tell you, that was BAAAAAAAD AAAAAAAAAA***%*%*%*%*%*!!!! (Sorry, I have little sisters, and I am not interested in getting the phone call from my dad how I am corrupting their young Catholic minds with my potty mouth! Sorry dad, but they have the Internet…..;) So while this went on for a little while, there was this dance group that was bowing at the time, but BROKE OUT INTO AFRICAN DANCE once they started FEELING the Djembe drum from Osubi! It was at this point when I noticed patrons from every direction, break out their phones and start recording ALL OF US! If anyone has some footage, please send it over to us, or direct us on YouTube, I’m telling you, people, it was THAT COOL!

So recap, check out Latitude 30 it was an awesome venue look forward to more shows there!
